Jeba Mobashwira is a research-driven legal and development professional and an enrolled Advocate at the District & Sessions Judge Court, Dhaka. She currently serves as a Law Desk Intern at The Daily Star, where she has also been an official contributor, and as a Legal Associate at MentorIP. She previously served as a Legal Associate at the law firms Legal Mart and Reza & Associates and worked as an Apprentice Lawyer at the District & Sessions Judge Court, Dhaka.
Her development experience with international and national organisations includes involvement with the British Red Cross/IFRC, SERAC-Bangladesh, and Map of Justice. Her international and civic engagements include the HISA Youth Fellowship (Oxford, UK), the Shadow Youth Parliament by UN Bangladesh, and the 10th International Youth Conference.
She served as the Lead Researcher at the 14th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition and as a Senior Executive at the BUP Law & Moot Court Club. Jeba holds LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M. degrees from the Bangladesh University of Professionals. Her research interests include international human rights law, intellectual property law, environmental law, gender justice, constitutional law, and access to justice.
Sabikunnahar is a development professional with over 18 years of experience in program management, operations, administration, and organizational development in Bangladesh’s NGO sector.
She worked with Save the Children in Bangladesh for more than 12 years (2013–2025), serving as Senior Program Support Officer and Program Support Officer. In these roles, she led program operations, strategic planning, donor compliance, budget and procurement management, NGO Affairs Bureau coordination, stakeholder engagement, and executive support for large-scale health and nutrition programs.
Previously, she served as Program Officer – Project Support at Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangstha (Manobadhikar) (2007–2013), where she managed project administration, human resources, procurement, and organizational operations. She also worked as an Intern with World Vision Bangladesh (2004) and Bangladesh Women’s Health Coalition (2002–2003).
Sabikunnahar holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Social Science in Social Welfare from the University of Dhaka. She brings strong expertise in program leadership, project coordination, operational management, compliance, partnership development, and institutional capacity strengthening.

Dr. Abed Chaudhury is a renowned genetic scientist and agricultural researcher known for his pioneering work in crop genetics, sustainable agriculture, and climate mitigation. He has developed innovative approaches, including multi‑harvest rice cultivation and strategies to reduce methane emissions from livestock, contributing to food security and environmental sustainability. With decades of experience in research, policy, and rural development, he bridges science and practical solutions for societal challenges.
As a member of the advisory body at BIJA (Bangladesh Institute for Judicial Advancement), Dr. Chaudhury will provide valuable guidance on integrating evidence-based solutions into judicial research, policy development, and program design. His expertise will help BIJA to promote innovative solutions and enhance capacity-building initiatives that link environmental and social considerations with equitable access to justice.
RaisuL Sourav is presently pursuing a PhD in Law at the School of Law, University of Galway, Republic of Ireland. He is an Associate Professor (on leave) & former Chair, Department of Law at Dhaka International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. RaisuL is also an Advocate (Lawyer) at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
He holds a Master’s Degree in International Energy Law and Policy from the University of Stirling in the UK. He was a recipient of the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship in 2017-18. He has been awarded a Scholarship and Stipend by the College of Business, Public Policy and Law, University of Galway to pursue his PhD. H M Nazmul Alam is a Bangladeshi academic, journalist, and columnist known for his sharp social commentary and thought-provoking opinion pieces. His writings often explore themes of justice, political culture, public morality, and the everyday struggles of people in developing societies. He earned his BA in English and MA in Literature from the Department of English, University of Dhaka before beginning his career in journalism. The early part of his professional journey was spent as an Assistant Editor at The Daily Ittefaq, one of Bangladesh’s oldest newspapers.
He later joined the Department of English and Modern Languages at International University of Business, Agriculture and Technology. Alongside academia, he writes regularly for leading local and international outlets blending scholarly insight with contemporary commentary.
Shams Nazib Ark currently serves as Legal In-charge at Prothom Alo. He holds an LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M from the University of Chittagong and is an enrolled Advocate of the Bangladesh Bar Council as well as a member of the Dhaka Bar Association.
Previously, he worked as Deputy Director (Legal) at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, Law Officer at ACI Ltd and the Honorary Consulate of Belgium, and Researcher (Legal) at Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB). Earlier in his career, he was recommended as a Probationary Officer at Bangladesh Commerce Bank.
Farija Akther is a final-year, first-semester student in the Department of Law at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT). I am passionate about legal research, human rights, youth leadership, and social justice. Currently, I am a Fellow at the Shuchona Youth Development Project, a joint initiative of BLAST and Awareness 360, where I engage in youth empowerment and community development activities. I am also a Peace Champions Fellow under BRAC University and Surgee Bangladesh, working to promote peace, inclusion, and social cohesion. Through my academic studies and fellowship experiences, I have developed strong interests in legal advocacy, research, and social impact initiatives while continuously enhancing my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Kaushik Dutta is a South Asian Foundation (SAF) Scholar currently pursuing his LL.M. at the University of Asia Pacific under the UMSAILS Programme (UNESCO Madanjeet Singh South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies). He completed his LL.B. (Hons) from East West University, where he was awarded a 100% Merit Scholarship for outstanding academic performance. His academic interests include human rights, gender justice, and criminal justice reform. Kaushik has served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at East West University and as a Street Lawyer with i-Probono, providing pro bono legal assistance to underprivileged communities. He is currently the Mentor of ANUKUL (Bangladesh), leading initiatives on legal literacy, domestic violence awareness, and human rights advocacy. Formerly, he served as the International Service Director of the Rotaract Club of East West University. Kaushik is also a professional reciter at Bangladesh Betar, recognized in several national competitions.
Kumkum Mahzabin is a LLB student at the London College of Legal Studies (South), having completed her CertHE with a Merit. Alongside her studies, she works as the Director at Ring Tech Properties Ltd and PF Corporation. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the LCLS(S) Mooting & Debating Club. Her experience spans legal research, mooting, mediation, arbitration, and event leadership, with notable achievements including Best Campus Ambassador at BUP National Law Fest, Best Diplomat at Best Diplomat Thailand, Best Participant at BSIL Human Intelligence Summer School, and Most Promising Writeup in the LEB Research Writing Competition.
She has interned with multiple legal chambers and international platforms, organised academic events, and represented her institution in national and international competitions such as the Philip C. Jessup Moot Competition, Asia Cup Moot Court, BIAC Arbitration Competition, SCLS National Law Olympiad, S.K. Misra Memorial International Mediation and Negotiation Competition 7.0 and NSU Mock Trial Tactics. With interest in public speaking, research, leadership, and communication, Kumkum continues to pursue opportunities that strengthen her professional growth and legal expertise.
MD Mahamodul Hasan is a young legal mind and an undergraduate law student at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. With a deep passion for Public International Law, Socio-legal and Geopolitical issues, and Intellectual Property Rights, he approaches complex legal challenges with creativity, critical insight, and unwavering commitment to justice.
As an active legal mind, Mahamodul has already made notable contributions through his roles as the Founding Executive Director of the International Institute For Law and Politics (IILP); Head of the Legal Research Wing at the Network for International Law Students (NILS) Chittagong University Chapter; Research Associate at the Development of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for VoT-Centered Service Approach for Law Enforcement Agencies
under the supervision of Professor A.B.M. Abu Noman University of Chittagong, supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM, UN Migration) and Young Power in Social Action (YPSA); Student Research Associate at the Justice Definitions Project by Judicial Data Collaborative convened by DAKSH India; Associate Editor at LEB Journal of Law and Policy; Assistant Editor at the Journal Law, Policy & Justice; Legal Researcher at the Bangladesh Law Digest (BDLD); and Research Intern at the Center for Global Sustainability Law in New York, USA. His recent research interests span cutting-edge issues including AI governance, climate-induced migration, and the protection of civilians in armed conflicts.
Tahsin Mubasshira is a graduate in Disaster Management and Resilience with hands-on field experience in disaster-affected communities. Skilled in primary data collection, research methodology, community communication, and project coordination. Adaptable to dynamic environments with a strong commitment.
Campus Ambassadors promote our mission within academic institutions by disseminating socio-legal knowledge and raising awareness on justice, rights, and equity. They strengthen collaboration and actively engage students and faculty in meaningful dialogue to build an informed and inclusive academic community.
Miftahul Jannat is currently studying at Jagannath University. She possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling her to effectively represent the organization and engage with students. She demonstrates leadership ability, confidence in public speaking, and strong networking skills, which help her build meaningful connections on campus. She also has good organizational and time management skills, allowing her to balance academic responsibilities with promotional activities and events. Additionally, she has basic knowledge of social media and marketing strategies, which supports increased outreach and visibility.
Surja Mandal is currently pursuing an LL.B. at the Department of Law, World University of Bangladesh. He is passionate about legal research, writing, and promoting socio-legal awareness among students and the wider community. Surja has authored several articles for national newspapers and has experience as a Campus Ambassador, engaging students in academic and legal initiatives. Through these experiences, he has developed strong skills in communication, leadership, legal writing, and research. He is eager to contribute his energy and commitment to advancing justice and legal education.
